The Sweet Sound of Words
I love words
I love putting them together in combinations that illicit
thought
laughter
tears
love
anger
dreams
hope
grief
I love a delicious string of alliteration
“…into winter wonderland we wander…”
I love a clever turn of meaning
And I love the delightful sound of words rolling of my tongue
garbanzo
carbuncle
rutabaga
gadunga
cantankerous
quixotic
Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg (its totally a word, I promise!)
What are your favorite words to say or write or look at or hear?

I love a book that really grabs me and shows me images with its words. I’m reading The Shack right now and I’m captivated, have you read it?

Bludgeon is always a good word. Curmudgeon, too, but not because it rhymes. And how could you have omitted troglodyte?!
I love that you used Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg in a blog. That makes me happy. You were with me when we found the lake and took a pic of the sign, right? Or was that Wade?

Forgot to mention my one brilliant, totally accidental alliteration. One day as we drove past a bridal shop, I exclaimed excitedly to my husband, “Wade! Whitney’s wife works at Wedding World!” That still makes me giggle.

Yeah, I was with you Em–I remember being totally underwhelmed to finally see the place which bore the name it took me several weeks to learn to pronounce when I was what, 7 years old or something. I guess I had expected something a little more magnificent!
PS: great words, I love them
