Today I celebrate the entrance into the world of my brand new twin nieces!  I’m so excited and at the same time in awe of the responsibility of having these little people who will be in my life forever from this day forward.

I think about my Aunt and the ways she has, and continues to contribute to my life.  Sometimes it was a planned craft project.  Sometimes it was hosting a slumber party with my sister and cousins.  Sometimes it is a straight talk about life, faith, love and dreams.   Sometimes it was a summer week by the lake.  MANYtimes, it is just being together–usually in the kitchen–laughing and sharing memories.  I have an amazing example of what it means to be an Aunt and I thank God for who she is and who she has challenged me to be.  I hope to grow-up into Aunting and be just like her!
