I am so excited to announce that one of my amazing friends (because I just happen to be blessed with several really spectacular people in my life) was just honored with the Audience Award for short films at the Indianapolis International Film Festival for the film Weathered, that he and some others made.  Big news, BIG news!  I am so excited for them and just want to help generate as much whoop-la as possible for them (aslo, I just got to use the word “whoop-la” in a post!)

So for those of you who live in the LA region of SoCal, here is your weekend assignment: 1) Go to the Feel Good Film Festival this Saturday August 8, 2009 and watch this film at 1pm.  You can purchase your tickets a here.  With your ticket you will be able to see THREE films (two shorts and one 80 min feature) for the low low price of $10.00!  Yeah, where in Hollywood can you see even just ONE movie for that price?  And you get to see these films as a part of a festival, so you can feel cooler and hipsterier about yourself having attended a film viewing at a festival!  2) Show your support and vote for Weathered.
